Here's a straight cabernet that exemplifies the east side of the dry old Clare bhills/b, which (given humid Bordeaux, the home of cabernet), is the least likely place on Earth to be growing such a grape. b....../b This was so stewed, ripe, rude and fleshy to inhale that it reminded me of a syrupy bOcker/b shiraz doused with even more syrupy, peachy viognier.
